Selected to Present at
So-Cal NI Technical Symposium
Vektrex has been selected as one of the six
presenters for the Southern California NI Technical Symposium on October
22, 2002.
The opportunity to present was made available
to all Alliance members and Vektrex was selected due to the timeliness and
importance of our recent project for Delta Design, which integrated LabVIEW
real-time and PXI.

Multi-Site Automatic Temperature Control
Using LabVIEW Real-Time and PXI
Description:
The presentation will cover
the technical approach that Vektrex used to develop an active thermal
control system for an integrated circuits (IC) handler. The system controls
temperature at eight separate IC test sites, providing tight, closed-loop
temperature control for high-speed IC functional testing . The presentation
discusses the PXI-based measurement hardware, and the real time software in
depth, as well as the development challenges that were overcome to make the
project successful.
