driver technology, today announced the release of version 2.1 of its VIVID
driver development tools. Version 2.1 adds automated LabVIEW wrapper
generation to the toolset, making it possible for non-experts to generate
high-quality wrappers with confidence.

usage in the LabVIEW application development environment.
LabVIEW, produced by National Instruments, is one of the top
application development environments for test and measurement applications.
Vektrex worked closely with National Instruments to create the
enhanced LabVIEW wrapper generation capability, to ensure that the resultant
wrappers are consistent with National Instruments LabVIEW development
standards.
According
to Noel Adorno, Software Engineer at National Instruments: “The
VIVID-generated LabVIEW wrappers simplify use of IVI-COM drivers in the
LabVIEW environment and allow LabVIEW users to use instrument drivers in a
way that is familiar to them.”

drivers.
