VEKTREX selected as CalTIP Grant Recipient

Governor Gray Davis has announced that Vektrex Electronic Systems, Inc. has been selected to receive the coveted CalTIP competitive technology grant. 

The CalTIP (California Technology Investment Partnership) grant is designed to increase economic growth, global competitiveness, and high-wage jobs in California. The CalTip matching grant program accelerates the commercialization of emerging technologies leveraging private sector, federal, and state resources.

Vektrex, one of 25 companies in California to be selected for this prestigious award,  thanked the SDRTA for their help and mentoring during the bid process. The SDRTA (San Diego Regional Technology Alliance) is a non-profit organization focused on helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into companies and companies into communities. Vektrex will use the grant to develop and commercialize innovative high-technology products, addressing instrument obsolescence, interchangeability, and interoperability.

Vektrex advances measurement technology changing the way test measurements are made, providing innovative measurement solutions supporting defense, telecommunications, and semiconductor industries.
