Overview

The SS200 High Current (SS200HC) current source is optimized for high current OEM and laboratory applications where multiple optoelectronic devices must be driven and monitored. The SS200HC provides DC or pulsed current up to 320A along with sophisticated load transient protection. SpikeSafe load transient protections detect and gracefully deal with drive current within a few microseconds of a load anomaly, preventing damage to sensitive devices in the load circuit.

Scalable For Small or Large Applications

The SpikeSafe 200 modular architecture easily scales to support large-scale, high power applications. Each channel can power a separate load circuit, up to 100V at 5A. Channels may be connected in parallel to provide redundancy and increased current, up to 40A per board with multiple board configurations providing currents up to 320A. Board, chassis, and rackmodule configurations are available. Remote control is provided via an Ethernet interface.
