Defense, Vektrex has developed
patent-pending MasqueradeTM technology to enable rapid
development of COTS-based form, fit, functional Composite Replacement
Instruments (CRIs) that seamlessly replace obsolete instrumentation in legacy
automatic test equipment (ATE). No test procedure set (TPS) modifications are
required! Our CRIs will extend the life of legacy ATE, immediately
eliminating hefty maintenance and support costs and reducing the risk of
system downtime. Rapid, cost-effective development and production makes
Masquerade an excellent choice for replacement of obsolete instruments in
systems targeted for re-host or offload to standardized ATE such as CASS.

with this technology mimic the original instrument's remote control capability
perfectly, eliminating the need to upgrade your test or data acquisition
system software. By not upgrading your system software, you save the cost of

The replacement instruments
that are created with this system are form, fit, and functional replacements
for the original instrument, allowing them to be purchased incrementally and
