UV-LED Characterization and Measurement Station

Accurate LED testing starts with the right tools: a stable source to power the device, a precision digitizer to capture voltage, and reliable optical instruments to measure light output. Combining the industry standard BTS2048 from GigaHertz-Optik with Vektrex pulsed SMU results in a complete test station that offers the performance, control, and ease of use needed to streamline LED development and testing.

Operational software provides an easy to use interface with standard operational measurement modes including constant current, single pulse and continuous pulse modes. The most accurate measurement method defined by LM-92-22; the Differential Continuous Pulse method simplifies UV-LED measurements.

Vektrex pulsed/DC Source Measure Units are available to support a wide range of devices including uLEDs, UV-LEDs, high voltage devices and high current devices. Key performance parameters including Peak Power, Irradiance, and Radiant Flux are measured with confidence.

The compact system fits on a benchtop and easily customizable with different size spheres and thermal platforms.

Automated Light Measurement System

Vektrex Automated Light Measurement System is designed to speed and reliably measure up to 40 devices mounted on a PCB. The system, designed for Energy Star Certification Test is also useable for testing single devices and light modules of sizes to 75mm x 300mm.

Based upon the industry standard CAS-140 spectrometer manufactured by Instrument Systems, this system offers 0.05% flux repeatability allowing failure trends to be identified sooner in the reliability/burn-in process saving time and money.

Vektrex LIV Curve Test System is based upon use of Vektrex source measure instrument to control the current, one digitizer to accurately read the voltage and a second digitizer to read the photodiode. The system is applicable for use with Lasers and LEDs.
